Melbourne Stars wicketkeeper-batter Sam Harper has been crowned the Player of the Tournament for BBL 2025-26, capping off a remarkable season that saw the 29-year-old reach new heights in his ninth Big Bash League campaign.

Harper's 2025-26 campaign was nothing short of extraordinary. The Victorian gloveman accumulated 371 runs during the home and away season at an outstanding average of 61.83, while maintaining an explosive strike rate of 155.23. The season also saw Harper reach a significant personal milestone, playing his 100th BBL match.
